St. John’s University’s Professor Marina Sorochinski will moderate a panel discussion at St. John’s University, Queens Campus (room TBD). Panelists include Jeffrey Deskovic, wrongful conviction expert and founder of The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice; Felipe Rodriguez, former police officer and exoneree; Erick Turner, exoneree; Christine Bella, an attorney with the Wrongful Conviction Unit of the Legal Aid Society; and Bryce Benjet, the Director of the Queens County DA’s Conviction Integrity Unit.
