University of Toronto Exhibit

“Although Wrongful Conviction Day officially takes place worldwide one day of the year (October 2), this exhibit strives to ensure that the wrongly convicted are never forgotten. This display showcases the stories of some of Canada’s wrongly convicted most of whom have been helped through Innocence Canada’s efforts.

This is an informative showcase that seeks to raise awareness in the community about wrongful convictions. We hope to educate, inform, and enlighten the public to the issues that may result in a wrongful conviction, and the obstacles the wrongly convicted face following exoneration. “
