10th Anniversary of International Wrongful Conviction Day Gala

On October 2, 2024, Innocence Canada, and the International Wrongful Conviction Day Committee (IWCD) invite you join them and the wrongly convicted, their families, advocates, supporters, sponsors, and other special guests to the 10th Anniversary IWCD Gala Event.

Don’t miss the opportunity to recognize, acknowledge and honour the wrongly convicted, their families, advocates, and supporters at this special milestone year event!

The evening will commence at 5:00 pm with a reception followed by an evening programme (7pm - 9pm) that involves the introduction of the exonerees and their families, unveiling of artwork, the presentation of the Rubin Hurricane Carter Champion of Justice, the Tracey Tyler, and Donald Marshall Junior Awards, musical performances and much more!

Amongst the exonerees attending from across Canada are co-president, Ron Dalton, A.J. Woodhouse, Brian Anderson, Tammy Marquardt Wynne, Maria Shepherd and co-founder and lawyer James Lockyer, Board members, Foundation members, sponsors and other luminaries and special guests.

This event is hosted by Innocence Canada and the International Wrongful Conviction Day Committe. It is possible for us to host this event free of charge due to our generous sponsors.
